We added 40 miles this week, bringing us a total of 1,071 miles into this journey. I started thinking about how many calories we have burned getting us to this point, and it was a little mind boggling. If you figure an average of 100 calories per mile, that's 107,000 calories. Let's just take a quick look at what that equals:
107,000 calories = 375 slices of pizza
107,000 calories = 419 Dunkin Donuts glazed donuts
107,000 calories = 229 Big Macs
107,000 calories = 428 Snickers Bars
107,000 calories = 243 Starbucks Grande Mocha Frappuccinos
That is a lot of junk to have burned off! Keep it up, ladies!
